PTFA

The PTFA is a multi-talented, fun-loving group of present and past parents whose aim is to not only raise funds to support the school in providing the additional resources they would like made available to their daughters, they also provide fun social events for parents to build their school connections. The PTFA is committed to providing an annual donation to the college, covering Scholarships, Dux Awards, Spirit of NZ sponsorship, sports uniforms, library books and the Student Welfare fund.

What events does the PTFA organise?

Events are organised throughout the year and many of them are focused on bringing the school community together in a social setting. Currently these events include;

  • Mastercook Curry Night
  • Golf Day
  • Quiz Night
  • Parent / Daughter Breakfast

And we welcome new ideas and initiatives that you may have.

Come join us!

The PTFA are always looking for parents to join the committee. Any parents willing to give their time and energy are more than welcome and it is a great way to become involved in the school community. We meet monthly, usually on the first Tuesday of the month, and meetings last approximately 1-2 hours.
We don’t expect members to be involved in all of the activities of the PTFA and, as such, organise subcommittees for each event being organised. You may choose to be on the full committee or part of a subcommittee. Maybe you are unable to commit to the organisation of an event but are willing to help out at the event itself. In all of these cases, we’d love to hear from you!
