Preview Evening

Friday 6th of August

Saturday 7th August 10.00 -  4.00pm

Sunday 8th August 10.00 - 4.00pm

Once again, plans are well under way for our annual art exhibition. This year's show looks like it will be BIGGER and BETTER than ever! For those of you unfamiliar with the event–
The Carmel College PTFA invite just over 100 artists from all over New Zealand to exhibit and sell their works. We  have some very famous names. Some well known local talent and some very exciting emerging artists. There is also sculpture, photography, glass, ceramic and bronze work on exhibit. We are extending our Outdoor Garden Art section again this year as its popularity continues to increase. We are also offering a larger “Boutique” for people wishing to purchase and take art away with them immediately featuring smaller works of art. The  Boutique will stock a stunning array of goodies, including jewellery, designer tea towels and smaller object d’art perfect for gifts or as a little treat for yourself.

The exhibition starts on  Friday evening from

7.00pm— 9.00pm
Tickets to the Preview Evening are $40.00 per ticket or $70 a double. Sumptuous Babich Wines are served accompanied by delectable finger food. This is a wonderful social occasion and a great evening for keen art buyers to attend. The exhibition is then open over the weekend with entry by gold coin donation. We have a wonderful Café open over this time serving fabulous coffee or a glass of wine if you’d prefer, delicious hot and cold home made food.
