Carmel College 30-Day Calendar Raffle — September 2026

1. The promoter

This raffle is promoted by the Carmel College Parent, Teacher & Friend Association (the "PTFA" or the "Promoter"), operating from Carmel College, Milford, Auckland, New Zealand, contactable at ptfa@carmelcollege.school.nz.

2. Authorised purpose

All net proceeds from this raffle (ticket revenue less direct costs such as payment processing fees and prize purchase costs) will be applied to the following authorised purposes:

1. PTFA Scholarships — including the Sr Mary Justine scholarships — awarded to Carmel College students in recognition of leadership, character, service and contribution to the school community.
2. Outdoor Activities Area — contributing to the development of a dedicated outdoor activities space for Carmel College students.

No organiser, volunteer, student, parent or other person involved in promoting this raffle will receive any personal financial gain from it.

4. Eligibility to enter

1. You must provide accurate buyer details: full name, mobile number and email address.
2. You must nominate a Carmel College student (full name and atfai) to be credited with the sale.
3. Carmel College staff and members of their immediate household are eligible to enter.
4. The named organiser of this raffle is not eligible to enter.

5. The prizes

There are 30 prizes, one drawn on each day from 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2026. Most prizes are incredible gift vouchers donated by our local community. The full prize pool is fantastic and is drawn down day by day as per the published calendar.

The full prize calendar is published at the landing page of the ticket sales.

Prizes are not transferable, not exchangeable for cash, and not redeemable for any item other than that specified by the voucher issuer. Voucher expiry dates and conditions of use are set by the relevant voucher issuer and are outside the Promoter's control.

6. The draws

1. One draw will be conducted on each day from 1 September to 30 September 2026 (inclusive).
2. Each draw is independent. All sold tickets are eligible for every draw; a ticket that has not won is automatically re-entered for subsequent draws.
3. A ticket may win more than once across the 30 draws.
4. Draws will be conducted manually by the named PTFA organiser and witnessed by at least one additional PTFA committee member or school staff member.
5. Draws will be done only from tickets actually sold (in the unlikely event sales do not reach 2,500).
6. Each daily draw will be conducted by the named organiser or their nominee, and the result recorded in the official ticket register.

7. Winner notification and prize claims

1. Winners will be contacted within 24 hours of the relevant draw via the email address and mobile number provided at purchase.
2. Winners' first names and the day they won may be published on Carmel College PTFA communications channels (e.g. via social media platforms).
3. Prizes will be delivered or made available for collection within 14 days of notification.
4. If a prize remains unclaimed after 3 months from the relevant draw date, that prize will revert to the Promoter and be applied to the authorised purpose.

8. Payments and refunds

1. All payments are processed by Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd. The Carmel College PTFA does not store payment card details.
2. Once a ticket number has been issued, the purchase is final and no refund will be given, except where required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or where the raffle is cancelled (see clause 11).
3. If a payment is received after the 2,500-ticket cap has been reached, no ticket will be issued.

9. Privacy

1. Buyer information collected (name, mobile, email) is collected and held by the Carmel College PTFA for the sole purpose of conducting this raffle and complying with record-keeping obligations.
2. Information will be held securely for 12 months from the date of the final draw and then destroyed, except where retention is required by law.
3. Buyer information will not be sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing purposes.
4. Buyers have the right to request access to and correction of their personal information under the Privacy Act 2020 by contacting the PTFA at the email address in clause 13.

10. Records

The Promoter will maintain the following records for not less than 12 months after the final draw:

• Ticket sales register (ticket number, buyer details, payment reference)
• Daily draw records (date, winning ticket number, witness signature)
• Prize distribution records
• Bank statements evidencing application of proceeds to the authorised purpose

11. Cancellation or variation

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or vary this raffle in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disaster, government direction, or failure of payment infrastructure). In the event of cancellation, all ticket purchases will be refunded in full and no claim against the Promoter shall arise.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising in connection with this raffle will be dealt with in the New Zealand courts.
