Thank you to those Old Girls who attended our recent inaugural Carmel Day Old Girls Mass and Afternoon Tea.

Carmel Old Girls Association now has a slightly different name – Carmel Old Girls and Associates. Associates can include past or present staff members or parents and this new incarnation was launched last Sunday in what we hope will become an annual occasion – a Eucharist to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel, hosted by Year 13 students of the present year.
Almost 200 people attended the Mass in the gym and a social gathering upstairs on the mezzanine floor, catered by Year 13 Food Technology students. Old friendships were renewed and new ones formed on this joyous occasion.

We are looking forward to this event next year when it will be held in our brand new Performing Arts/Library building.
