As we welcome International students to Carmel College, we are looking for warm and caring long term and short term, Carmel College host families, reasonably close to the  school.

Our homestay hosts must be New Zealand residents and speak English at home.  If you enjoy learning about other cultures, and have a spare room or two, you might like to consider hosting.  Our International department will be available to offer plenty of support.

2026 remuneration:  

• $420 per week for students in Years 9-13 
• $470 per week for students in Years 7-8 

2027 remuneration: 

• $430 per week for students in Years 9-13 
• $480 per week for students in Years 7-8

 2027 Short Stay Groups – Homestays Wanted

We require accommodation for our short stay student groups in Terms 1, 2 & 3, 2027.  We are specifically looking for families with a daughter at Carmel College.  Students can be hosted in pairs or individually, in a shared twin bedroom or in separate rooms.  Please advise whether you are able to accommodate one or two students?
