We are incredibly proud to share that Year 11 student Nakisha Wood has been named the 2025 NZ Brain Bee Champion!

Nakisha competed in the national final on Sunday, 16th November against the South Island champion and top regional/state winners from across Australia. Her outstanding performance earned her the highest score of all competitors, securing the national title. Nakisha Wood will therefore go on to represent New Zealand in the International Brain Bee Challenge next year.

The competition, which challenges students on their knowledge of neuroscience, critical thinking, and problem-solving, is highly regarded across New Zealand and Australia. Nakisha’s achievement reflects exceptional dedication and talent.
