On 16th of February, our Year 12 and 13 Design students had the amazing opportunity to visit Yoobee College of Creative Innovation for a full day of hands-on learning. We started off with a Photoshop workshop where we learned to crop, select, and edit images. After lunch and taking pictures for our internal, we moved onto illustrator, using the pen tool to create shapes and designs for our posters.

The trip also included our past Carmel helpers who were Hannah Whiteman, Rafaela Decena, Andrea Reyes, and July Alegres who generously gave up their day to give back to Design.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from the talented team at Yoobee College of Creative Innovation and we can’t wait to try these techniques in our own projects this year.
