Students and families in Years 9–12 are warmly invited to attend our Options Evening on Wednesday 29 July from 4.00pm–6.00pm in the Carmel College Hall.
This important event provides an opportunity to explore the subjects and pathways available for 2027, helping students make informed decisions about their future learning and career aspirations.
In addition, a series of information presentations will be held in the Staffroom to support students and whānau as they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey:
- 4.30pm – Moving into Year 11
For current Year 10 students and families - 5.00pm – Moving into Year 12
For current Year 11 students and families - 5.30pm – Moving into Year 13
For current Year 12 students and families
These presentations will provide valuable information about NCEA pathways, assessment requirements, and considerations when selecting subjects for senior study.
Subject selections for 2027 will open on Thursday 30 July and close on Monday 17 August.
Once students have made their selections, parents and caregivers will be required to log in to SchoolBridge to review and approve their daughter’s choices before the closing date.
We strongly encourage all students and families to attend this event and take advantage of the opportunity to discuss future pathways with teachers and school leaders. It is an important step in planning for a successful and fulfilling 2027 school year.
