Elena has been part of the first NZ cohort of the AFS Global Up Teen programme, an internationally recognised global competence programme.
Over four weeks, participants from different parts of New Zealand completed online learning modules and participated in facilitated live sessions. Together, the group have developed their intercultural skills and global competencies. They have learned about their own and others’ cultural identities, how to suspend judgement and connect across differences – and they are now well on their way to becoming Active Global Citizens.
Congratulations to Elena for successfully completing the programme!
