We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Aarna Patil, who has been awarded a Silver Medal in the Future Innovators – Senior High Division at the World Robot Olympiad New Zealand 2026 (WRO-NZ 2026).

Held at the New Zealand International Convention Centre in Auckland on 31 May, WRO-NZ brings together students from across the country to showcase their creativity, innovation, problem-solving and STEM skills through robotics.

Aarna’s Silver Medal is a fantastic achievement and recognises her innovation, technical ability and dedication to developing a creative solution to a real-world challenge.

The World Robot Olympiad is one of the world’s leading international robotics competitions, with outstanding competitors selected to represent New Zealand at the WRO Asia-Pacific Championship in India and/or the WRO International Final in Puerto Rico later this year.
