As part of this year’s Culture Week celebrations, we’re excited to introduce cultural food stalls, taking place prior to the Cultural Performance Night on Wednesday, 20 August. These stalls will replace the lunchtime food stalls traditionally held on the Friday of Culture Week—and we’d love your support to make them a success!
If you or your whānau would like to run a stall serving a dish that represents your culture—whether it’s dumplings, curry, crêpes, kebabs, or a unique dish from your heritage—we’d love to hear from you. It’s a fantastic opportunity to share your culture and connect with the wider Carmel community.
Students in Years 9–13 who are interested in contributing a dish are encouraged to apply via the Culture Week Committee sign-up form, available on your year level Google Classroom.
🗓 Sign-ups close Friday, 18 July.
Carmel College will contribute towards the cost of ingredients, and all proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting future Culture Week events and performances.
If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please contact the Heads of Arts and Culture: 🎭 Helena Lee (19064) or Abigail Street (19103)
