Congratulations to Dina Aziz, Year 13 who was placed 4th and has been awarded a special highly commended prize of $200 for her beautiful Night Sky art entry focusing on the theme ‘What Brings You Joy?’  Judge Matthew Ellwood from Whitecliff College of Arts and Design thought it was “a lovely idea, well-considered with strong composition, good skill and use of colour”.  The judges felt it related well to the theme portraying the love and security of family as a thing of joy.  Dina’s canvas is on display in the library for a short while.

My family brings me joy through their love, comfort, support and encouragement which help me reach for beautiful things, like the stars in the night sky. They inspire me to shine and to keep going even when things become challenging. I am so lucky and grateful to have them in my life. It’s not material items or temporary friends/relationships that bring true joy, family does.
