Next week is NZ Conservation Week!

At Carmel the week will start on Sunday with SAVE members attending a tree planting event in William Souter Reserve run by local group Pupuke Birdsong. This is an exciting opportunity for our community to contribute to local conservation efforts and help improve our natural surroundings. (details below).

Throughout the week Carmel Save group would like to encourage all students to support te wiki o te taiao by focusing on reducing single-use plastics.

Starting next week, we challenge you to pack your lunchboxes with reusable containers instead of single-use plastic wraps, bags, or bottles. Making this small change can have a big impact on our environment, and every effort counts. Let’s work together to make a difference!
