PTFA Fundraising Calendar – Call for Voucher Donations

The Carmel College PTFA is excited to launch a Fundraising Calendar this July, and we warmly invite our school community to be part of this special initiative.

This calendar will feature 31 fantastic vouchers, each ranging in value from $50 to $500. Every calendar ticket sold will give the holder the opportunity to go into a daily prize draw throughout August 2026, creating a month-long celebration of generosity and community support.

To make this initiative a success, we are reaching out to our parent and wider Carmel community for contributions.

How You Can Help

If you or your family:

  • Own a business – we would greatly appreciate the donation of a voucher, which will also provide a wonderful opportunity to showcase your business in the calendar, or
  • Would like to contribute – you can donate vouchers from popular retailers such as Woolworths, New World, Farmers, Mitre 10, or a Prezzy Card

Every contribution, big or small, will help us create an exciting and valuable calendar for our community.

How to Donate (all donations to come in by 30th June 2026)

If you have a voucher to contribute, please:

  1. Place it in a sealed envelope
  2. Clearly write “PTFA Donation” on the front
  3. Include your name and contact details so we can properly acknowledge your generosity
  4. Drop it off at the school reception

Why This Matters

Funds raised from this initiative will support the PTFA’s work across the school, including:

  • Providing two PTFA‑funded scholarships each year, named in honour of Sr Mary Justine, the school’s first Principal. These scholarships recognise students for leadership, creativity, service, resilience, and contribution to the community, ensuring more inclusive recognition beyond traditional pathways.
  • Contributing towards the development of an outdoor activities area for our students, helping to enhance the overall school experience for our girls.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our Carmel community. Your generosity helps us create meaningful opportunities for our students and strengthen the vibrant community we all value.

PTFA fundraising Sausage Sizzle on Saturday 23rd May

The Carmel College PTFA team runs a fortnightly fundraising sausage sizzle during term time, located outside the award‑winning Well-Hung Butchery in Milford.

We are incredibly grateful for the generous support of:

  • Well-Hung Butchery, who provide our delicious gourmet sausages (think Beef & Mustard, Pork & Fennel, or Lamb & Rosemary), and
  • Baker’s Delight, who kindly supply the fresh bread.

We would love for you to come along, grab a tasty lunch, and support the team!

All funds raised go towards supporting our school community, including helping to fund the two PTFA scholarships awarded to deserving Year 13 students. The student volunteers who sell the greatest number of sausages also win vouchers at the end of the year!! Such a win – win.
