Year 13 Geography Trip

The Year 13 Geographers visited Rotorua last Thursday and Friday to gain a deeper understanding of how Tourism Development has changed Rotorua over time.  It was a great opportunity for the girls to experience the processes and environment which they study for a Level 3 Geography External.  We had an insightful talk from the Rotorua Museum staff and visited the Buried Village, Whakarewarewa Living Maori Village and Rotorua Canopy Tours.  There was also time for the Carmel College Crazy Golf Championship and pizza evening. Of course no trip to Rotorua is complete without a few luge rides.  A big thank you to Mr Bassett for organising the trip.
