Year 10 – Traditional still life

Throughout Term 2, Year 10 Art students have made impressive strides in their observational drawing and painting skills.

This series of traditional still life paintings represents the culmination of their efforts. Each student contributed personal objects to the arrangements.

The focus was on capturing a variety of surfaces and textures—including woodgrain, drapery, glass, and metal—through careful rendering of light, shadow, and form.

These works reflect considerable skill and growth across the cohort this year.
