Homestays Wanted
As we welcome International students to Carmel College, we are looking for warm and caring long term and short term, Carmel College host families, reasonably close to the school.
Our homestay hosts must be New Zealand residents and speak English at home. If you enjoy learning about other cultures, and have a spare room, you might like to consider hosting. Our International department will be available to offer plenty of support.
2025 remuneration:
- $400 per week for students in Years 7-10
- $380 per week for students in Years 11-13

Uniforms needed for International Students – can you help?
Are there any families who have Carmel uniform items which they are able to donate for our short term International students? We require Junior, Senior and PE uniforms in good condition.
If so, please contact Helena international@carmel.school.nz, or simply drop any items into the international office, located in the Homestead.
