Carmel College PTFA – Invitation to the 2026 Annual General Meeting

The Carmel College Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) extends a warm welcome to all parents and caregivers as we begin another exciting year of community connection, collaboration, and support for our kura. The PTFA has a dual purpose: raising funds for meaningful projects and fostering a strong sense of community. Our aim is to ensure students have access to the valuable extras that enrich their learning environment and overall school experience.

A key event on our calendar is the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held on:

 Tuesday, 10 March 2026
 7.00pm
 Carmel College Staffroom

All parents, caregivers, whānau and friends of the college are warmly invited to attend.

The AGM is an important opportunity to hear about the PTFA’s activities over the past year, learn about our goals for 2026, and contribute your ideas for future initiatives. It is also the meeting at which we appoint parents and caregivers to the PTFA’s key roles for the coming year:

  • Chairperson
  • Deputy Chair
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary

These roles are essential in helping guide the PTFA’s work and ensuring that we continue to deliver meaningful support to our students and school community. Whether you are interested in standing for a position, joining as a general committee member, or simply coming along to connect with others and learn more, your presence and participation are greatly valued.

New members are always welcome, and no prior experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute to the Carmel community. The AGM is also a wonderful way to meet other parents and caregivers and learn more about the initiatives the PTFA leads throughout the year.

We look forward to seeing you there and working together to make 2026 another successful year for the Carmel College PTFA.
