Each year we give special focus to one of our 5 Core Mercy Values. In 2020 the focus is Manaakitanga – CARE for others, especially the vulnerable. There are many people in our school and wider communities that are vulnerable and in need of Care – the poor, the elderly, new students, those who have special needs, those suffering from mental illness and so on. As a Catholic and Mercy community, we are focusing on how we can show care and welcome to all these people. The symbol of CARE is a korowai – a cloak of Mercy that shelters those who are vulnerable.
