Recently two Year 7&8 teams competed in the Auckland heat of the Kids Lit Quiz at St Cuthbert’s College.  There was some tough competition but we are proud of our results.  Carmel Team A placed 9th and Carmel Team B placed 18th out of nearly 30 teams!

Everyone had an amazing time and the event was filled with so much laughter and curiosity.  This event wouldn’t have happened without our quizmaster, Wayne Mills, who hosted us that evening. We would also like to thank Miss Banfield, our coach, who made this possible. 

For any Year 7 student who loves reading and doing fun quizzes with their peers, I would totally recommend joining the Kids Lit Quiz next year.  Books are full of adventure, knowledge and so much more.  So keep reading because a book is a gift you can open again and again!
