Rag Fairies – A Service Story

Rag Fairies is a service run by a group of Year 7 and 8 students. We make toys and rags for the SPCA every Wednesday lunchtime. Although it counts for service hours, it’s nice to do it knowing we are also helping animals in need. The toys we make are strips of old sheets that we plait together, creating a sturdy rope toy, and the rags are just simply cut up squares of old sheets. The rags are used for cleaning the cages and kennels, so the SPCA needs a lot of them! The toys are for the dogs to keep them entertained while they wait to find their forever home.
