Be as shining lamps giving light to all around you – Catherine McAuley

There are many students in our College who are excellent role models for us as we try to live a Mercy women.  To acknowledge some of the outstanding examples, an award is presented at the end of each Term to one junior and one senior student from each House.  This is an opportunity to acknowledge the Spirit of Mercy demonstrated by students in the College who live out our 5 Core Mercy Values of:

Āwhinatanga – SERVICE, Whakaute – RESPECT, Tika – JUSTICE, Manaakitanga – CARE, Māia – COURAGE

Students and teachers in each House are able to nominate students this award.  The Dean, along with the House Leaders, decide on the recipients having considered the nominations received.
