This year we have a new leadership position Tu Wahine to help raise the profile of Tikanga and Maori students at Carmel. As part of this new role, we commissioned a special Korowai to be made for the holders of this special position to wear. We had the Korowai blessed at Mass by Fr Marchellino and presented to our first Carmel Tu Wahine, Madi Kibblewhite, to wear as a sign of her leadership.
