Head Girl and North Shore Youth MP Chelsea Brown proudly represented our school and community at the official opening of Youth Parliament 2025, where she was photographed alongside two inspiring Carmel alumnae: Hon Barbara Edmonds (née Poe, Class of 1998) and Kahurangi Carter (Class of 2001)—both now Members of Parliament.

Remarkably, Barbara and Chelsea have both held the role of Head Girl at Carmel College—past and present—highlighting the leadership, service, and lifelong sisterhood nurtured through our Mercy values.
