On Sunday 26 July, 22 Carmel College students celebrated a significant milestone in their faith journey as they received the Sacrament of Baptism at St Joseph’s Catholic Parish, Takapuna.

The joyful celebration was led by celebrant Father Chris Denham, who welcomed the students, their families, and members of the Carmel community as they gathered to mark this special occasion. Through baptism, the students were welcomed into the Catholic faith community and took an important step in deepening their relationship with God.

The ceremony was a beautiful reflection of faith, family, and community, with loved ones coming together to support and celebrate the students on this meaningful day.
