As a Carmel College community, we are pleased to share De Paul House’s Bring Joy This Christmas appeal and encourage our students and families to support this wonderful initiative.
For many families, the rising cost of living has made everyday life increasingly challenging. This Christmas, De Paul House will support more than 525 people, including 330 children and teenagers and 195 adults, helping bring some extra joy and hope to those who need it most.
De Paul House is collecting donations of new toys, clothing, treats and gift vouchers to help families and seniors enjoy a brighter Christmas. Gift vouchers of $20, $30 or $50 for The Warehouse or supermarkets are particularly welcome.
How can you help?
If you would like to contribute, please arrange your donation directly with De Paul House. Donations can be made in the following ways:
- Online donation: Visit www.depaulhouse.org.nz/donations and select the reference Christmas26.
- Online banking: De Paul House Charitable Trust Board, BNZ 02-0278-0059429-02. Please use Christmas26 as the reference.
- Gift and treat donations: New, unwrapped gifts and donations of treats can be dropped off at De Paul House, 92 Onewa Road, Northcote Point.
All donations and drop-offs should be made directly to De Paul House, not to Carmel College.
The deadline for donations is Friday 11 December 2026.
