FoodTogether

FoodTogether is a social enterprise where a group of Year 12 Carmel students gather every Thursday to pack freshly picked fruit and vegetables. Food Together offers a wide range of great quality fruit and vegetables at affordable prices. There are 4 types of boxes. For our biggest boxes (Whanau and Gourmet) you are saving at least $10 compared to buying the same products at the supermarket. For our smaller boxes (Gold and Value) you are saving up to $5. The prices are $36 for Whanau, $26 for Gourmet, $15 for Value, and $10 for Gold. There is also a ‘deal of the week’ where you pay an extra amount to receive a high-value item such as mangos, avocados, dates and beans.

Last term we managed to raise $330 for Hospice and this term all of the funds raised will go to Youthline. Furthermore, all our leftover fruit and vegetables go to De Paul House.

We would like to share your favourite recipes and by doing this you go in the draw for a free box. Additionally, all customers will go into the draw to win a fresh box. One entry is for ordering, and an extra chance for contributing a recipe.

We really recommend ordering from Food Together as it is a great cause, amazing value, and you are doing your bit for your community as well as receiving a great quality box of fruit and vegetables. We always enjoy preparing the boxes for you and your family as it brings us together. You can order here at: Food Together and pick up is every Thursday at Carmel College visitors car park between 3:30-5:00 pm.
