As part of our Carmel Day Mass at the end of Term 2, we will once again present Mercy Awards to three outstanding staff or community members who go above and beyond for our Carmel Community.

These awards celebrate individuals who consistently demonstrate the 5 Core Mercy Values of Carmel College in their contribution to Carmel life. 

Awhinatanga – SERVICE, Whakaute – RESPECT, Tika – JUSTICE, Manaakitanga – CARE, Maia – COURAGE

Whether through coaching, committee work, classroom support, or wider community involvement, this is our opportunity to recognise those who make a meaningful and ongoing difference.

Students are acknowledged separately through the Spirit of Mercy Awards.

✅ Who can be nominated?

• Any full-time or part-time staff member (teaching or support)
• Community members with a strong, established connection to the school

📝 How to nominate:

For eligibility criteria and to nominate, complete the Carmel Day – Mercy Award Nomination form prior to Wednesday, 18 June at 3pm to submit up to three nominations. The Senior Leadership Team, with final approval from the Principal, will select the recipients.
