Last week, Year 10 visited Christian Churches to end our unit on the Church in the Middle Ages and Reformation. We visited St George’s Presbyterian Church in Takapuna, St Mary’s Anglican Church in Parnell, St Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral in the CBD, and had a lovely lunch at the Parnell Rose Gardens. We were warmly welcomed at each venue and learned about the history of the church buildings and the similarities and differences in beliefs between the three denominations. Thank you to Father Chris, who accompanied us, Rev. Joshua and Mariana, who gave up their time to speak with our students.
