Congratulations to the students below 

Dance NZ Made 

Athena Macmac proudly represented Carmel College at the recently concluded Dance NZ Made Solo Dance Competition for Year 8 students, where she achieved 6th place overall. Competing with a Saturday night music, Athena performed a Jazz dance, showcasing her dedication, confidence and passion for dance. This was her first time participating in the Dance NZ Made competition.

Ice Figure Skating 

Athena also recently represented New Zealand at the WinterSun Ice Figure Skating Competition held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, competing in the Basic Novice category. She competed alongside skaters representing different states of Australia and proudly achieved a 2nd place podium finish, while also achieving a new personal best score.

Lily Rivers-Simons & Thea Norman qualified for this event from the North Harbour Cross Country Zone day. Well done to Lily, who placed 18th in the cross country out of 80-90 girls.
