Service In Lockdown

Due to the Level 4 lockdown, there have been many families who have lost their jobs and therefore have been unable to put food on their tables. By putting into practice the Mercy Value of Care, especially for the vulnerable, the St. Vincent de Paul Society has taken action by putting together food parcels for those struggling to make ends meet. As part of my service, I have helped Vinnies by delivering food parcels to families in need all across the North Shore.

I am pictured above with a box filled with goods to help a family of four. The box contains all sorts of essential foods such as fresh vegetables, milk, chicken, pasta, canned goods as well as a couple of treats to put a smile on the kid’s faces.
